'Falling at Home' was commissioned to promote the Urgent Homecare and Falls Response Servicen operated by Central Bedfordshire Council, to both the public and health and

emergency services staff.

The video features two older people who fell at home and what followed.   The video reconstructs a fall and how the Ambulance service refers the patient to the 'Falls' service following the fall.

​

It shows a visit from the 'Falls' team, how an assessment is made and what support needs to be put in place to keep the person at home safely and build their confidence after the fall.

​

The video encourages health workers and doctors to feel confident that some people can remain at home after a fall and ultimately lead to blocking of beds in hospitals and save money whilst providing first calls support for fall victims.
